Moving Cars Comments

This is really a follow on question, that you answered previously a week ago.

My follow up question is, when moving an automobile, will most auto's readily be able to use your ramps to be loaded into the car, ie. even slightly low to the ground kind, like my BMW. What is the clearance or measurement I should gauge by?

Lastly, I know you allocate 16' feet for the auto, is the presumption the auto is loaded first, last or ???

Thanks so much, I am sure others will have similar thoughts so you may post these questions if you like...

Have a good week...!!

Gary,

This is a great followup. We have a list of autos that readily go up the ramps into the moving truck. You are correct in your assumption that some autos would scrape their bumpers when loading and unloading. If your car is low to the ground, you may need to have a rollback wrecker load your car. It costs between $30 and $75 (depending on where you live). The rollback picks your car up level with the back of the moving van and you drive it in. We do this every day with great success.

Generally the auto is loaded last. However, it really does not matter and is safe in any position on the moving truck.

We look forward to serving you.
