Question to Movexfrom tim K in AL - Thursday, July 29, 2010 |
Movex ResponseLol! No worries. Pods is a great service, but a lot more expensive. You actually load your furniture right onto the moving van. Each truck is equipped with furniture blankets, loading ramps, tiedown straps, and a dolly. Each customer is in a private compartment on one big truck. Movex |

Question to Movexfrom Arbin T in VA - Sunday, July 18, 2010 |
Movex ResponseArbin, Our service is really designed for larger shipments involving furniture. I think that your best bet for shipping suitcases would be UPS ground freight. Movex |
Question to Movexfrom Kat M in MN - Sunday, July 18, 2010 |
Movex ResponseKat, Each moving truck has moveable, plywood walls in it. Our driver puts those walls up for you so that each customer has a private compartment on the truck. Movex |
Question to Movexfrom Chris T in RI - Tuesday, July 13, 2010 |
Movex ResponseChris, Great Falls is iffy for us. Please call 800-876-6839 so that a move counselor can work up a price for you. Movex |
Question to Movexfrom Kathy F in CA - Wednesday, July 07, 2010 |
Movex ResponseKathy, No, the shrinkwrap is designed to be in temperatures much hotter than those that would be found inside the moving trucks. Movex |
Question to Movexfrom Amanda C in UT - Wednesday, July 07, 2010 |
Movex ResponseIt will take approximately 4 days of transit time with a delivery window at the end of that transit to allow for loading and unloading of other households from the truck. Your goods are seperated by moveable plywood walls so that your stuff does not get mixed up with anyone else's. A driver is always with a loaded trailer so that you don't have any monkey business going on. Movex |
Question to Movexfrom Deb H in MI - Wednesday, July 07, 2010 |
Movex ResponseDeb, It is certainly do-able. It will not cost an arm and a leg.... just an arm. Seriously, it should not be too pricey because Rapid City is on the way to Colorado from the Midwest, a decent traffic lane. Movex |
Question to Movexfrom michael L in NH - Saturday, June 19, 2010 |
Movex ResponseYou can if it will fit. Our trailers are 8ft wide and 9ft tall (and 48ft long). The loading ramps can hold up to 2500# so you will need to take that into consideration when planning your move. If it is too heavy, you can get a wrecker to come and pick it up and put it in the trailer (generally costs around $60 to do that). Movex |
