If you put more than one customer on the truck at at time how do you prevent theft from happening when the second customer is loading their stuff onto the truck?

The trucks have a recessed track in the walls that allows the driver to put up braces and a bulkhead at any point in the trailer. So, in effect, each customer gets a private compartment on the truck. Also, the driver stays with the truck when there are shipments on board. This ensures that nobody gets into the wrong compartment during loading or unloading.

Included with each move is $5000 of catastrophic coverage (fire, overturn, theft of vehicle, etc.). You can purchase up to $50,000 of extra coverage. Please call a relocation specialist at 800-876-6839 and they will explain the many options in detail.

You might also want to check with your homeowners insurance. Many times, they will also cover your goods and you can save yourself unnecessary expense of double covering your move.

Movex provides $5000 of catastrophic coverage with every move. You can purchase additional coverage at a very reasonable price. We do not have a loading and unloading company. Eagle Management is a labor company that is linked on our site, but you will need to discuss packing and insurance with them directly. I do know that they are better than any other loading service available. Our customers have tried them all and Eagle is the only one that we will still link to our site.

Do you insure the contents of the truck? What assurances does a customer have that his belongings will arrive safely and intact? What happens if the driver gets in a wreck and our belongings are damaged and/or ruined? Thanks!

How are my possessions kept secure between pickup and delivery? What if something becomes stolen during the transportation process?

Each shipment is in a private compartment on the moving van (separated by wooden bulkheads). In our eight years of service, we have never had a theft. That being said, we have catastrophic coverage available at a very reasonable price.

If you were to move my 3bdrm from Littleton, CO, to San Antonio, TX., would you guarantee that my shipment would not be downloaded on the way or rerouted to handle another job in some city between here and there?

Movex is a self-service mover and provides transportation from door-to-door. We do not take our shipments to warehouses and offload them. They are all direct. We will put more than one shipment on a truck (each gets its own compartment)unless you order the entire moving van. By sharing a truck, you can get a much better rate for your move. That being said, we are always happy to accommodate a "full-truck" customer.
