My husband is in the military and we are doing a dity move and are required to have an empty and full weight ticket in order to get reimbursed for the move. Is it possible to obtain an empty and full weight ticket from you if we decide to use movex?

Is it possible to obtain empty and loaded certified weight certificates of my household goods? Because I will need them to make a travel claim (military).

If you are doing a DITY move, Movex can provide you with weight tickets for reimbursement by Traffic Command. Most military members actually make money by using Movex and loading and unloading the moving truck themselves. So, to answer your question, we don't have a military discount, but we can help you make some money on your move.

I'm in the military and will make a do-it-yourself (DITY) move when I travel to my next duty station. So that I am reimbursed properly, the program requires me to obtain the weights of the empty and loaded trailer in order that the weight of my household goods can be calculated. Can Movex accommodate my request in weighing the trailer before and after I load it?

DITY moves are our specialty. Most military members that use Movex's service actually MAKE money on their move. The government reimburses them based on the weight tickets and a tariff that they have developed. The Movex pricing often allows for you to have a little money left over at the end of your move!

hi, im moving from washington to sacramento california. my husband is going to iraq for a year and were putting alot in storage im only taking my bed and a few items whats the cheapest way to take a brandnew queen size bed withme? thanks

To be perfectly honest with you, the absolute cheapest way to do this would be to store your mattress and buy a new one in Sacramento. A rental truck is the next cheapest route, and even that will be several hundred dollars (if you are moving from WA state... if you are moving from DC, you are looking at a couple of thousand dollars). We can get you some rates that will be very inexpensive when you are ready to move all of your things, but for what you are trying to accomplish here, buying a new one is definitely the way to go.
