my husband and i are moving from florida to AZ...doing a DIDY move ourself..do we weigh the truck empty and full here in florida and the same in AZ?? thank you!

I am moving onto a military base, but this is not a DITY move. Will your driver be able to have all the paperwork necessary to drive the truck onto a military post and to my home, without this particular move being a DITY? I need to be sure the driver will be able to drive directly to my home on this military post before I book a move with your company.

Anyone that comes to your home will be DOT certified. You will need to leave the driver's name and information with the visitor's center at the base. You will also need to be available to check him in and lead him to your home on base. But yes, we should be able to deliver right to your home on base... even with it not being a DITY move.

We have no idea where you can get a uhaul weighed. Trucks provided through Movex get the weight tickets on certified truck scales at truck stops.

You will need to check with the transportation officer at your local military installation. You will only be eligible for government reimbursement if you are moving on orders from the military.

I have furniture that I would like to give he and his wife (bedroom set, sofa, kitchen table and chairs) but I need to ship it from Houston, TX to Moraga, CA, which is his registered address. I would like a quote and timing for such a shipment. Do you wrap all furniture?

We are self-service movers. All of the equipment (furniture blankets, loading ramps, straps, dolly) is available for you to use. However, you provide the loading and unloading. Movex provides the door to door transportation from TX to Hawaii.
