How much would it cost to include my vehicle (small pickup truck) with the rest of my shipment (2 bedroom plus)?

Joy,

When you received your quote from us via email, there is a button on it to "Make Reservation". If you push that button, it will automatically calculate the rate for a car before you make your reservation online. If you are not ready to reserve, you can just view the car cost and then leave that page.

I need a quote on moving a 1990 Honda Accord from St. Louis Missouri to Las Vegas Nevada. I have previously sent for a quote for moving my one bedroom apartment with your company. Please combine the quotes if possible. Thank you.

Lillian,

We send a price for moving your car with every shipment, so if you filled out the quote request form above, you are done! One of our relocation specialists will be emailing you with moving truck pricing and the price to move your car on the same moving van.

i have a 2002 chevy s-10 LOW rider and it sits about a foot off the ground i was wondering if thats going to be a prob geting in your trucks

Kevin,

See the question before this one. You will need a flatbed wrecker to put a lowrider pickup on the moving van. Cost for this will be between $35 and $75.

How is the car loaded onto the truck? You say no surprise costs, but do we have to get a flatbed to load and unload the car? Your website implies you have ramps for normal size cars.

Marianne,

There are two ways to load your car onto the moving truck. The primary way to load is using the loading ramps that are provided with your move. They separate in the middle and are designed to have cars driven on them for loading into moving trucks.

If your car is low to the ground (or is a big SUV/Pickup truck that is too heavy for the ramps), you will need to have a flatbed wrecker come and load your vehicle on the day of the move. This cost is usually between $35 and $75 depending on where you live. This will not come as a surprise. When you get pricing from your relocation specialist, they will get the information about your car and help you determine if a flatbed wrecker will be needed.

I'm moving from Durham, NH to Spring Valley, CA. I would estimate I have 1-plus bedroom worth of stuff. I also have a motorcycle. I see that you guys ship motorcycles, but in my online request for a quote, I was never given the option to include the motorcycle in the quote. How much more will shipping the motorcycle cost?

Phillip,

Movex does not charge extra to move your motorcycle inside the moving truck. You simply load it in the space that you order and use the straps and blankets to secure it (the equipment is very easy to use).

I just submitted a quote, but I will also need to include the cost of moving my car in that quote. How can I make sure that cost is included?

Lori,

Our system automatically calculates the rate for moving a car and emails it to you with your moving quote. There is a short delay as the rates are processed in batches, not in real time. If you need immediate assistance, one of our relocation specialists can give you rates instantly at 800-876-6839.

I am moving from Rhode Island to Indiana and I have a 2002 GMC Yukon/Denali XL. I am wondering if you guys have a trailer I can tow my vehicle on?

Leanea,

We can actually move your Yukon right inside the same moving truck as your furniture! Movex is an excellent choice if moving furniture and a car. It is not expensive and all of your stuff arrives at the same time!

I am moving from Elmwood Park, IL to Fresno, CA on the first week of April. I only have one room to move and one mid size car. How long does it take to get my stuff to Fresno. How much will it cost me? I am trying to determine if it is cost effective to rent a truck and a flat bed for the car, and drive there. Thanks.

Freddie,

One of our relocation specialists will be with you shortly with some pricing. It will take about 5 days for us to ship you across country. We will not be cheaper than renting a truck, but we will be very cost-effective when considering that you don't have to drive a moving truck across the country when using our services.

I am moving from Inglewood CA to Detroit MI.I only have furnture from a studio apartment but I also have a Chevy Tahoe. Can you move them both in the same trip?

Patrice,

Movex's speciality is moving your car on the same moving van with your furniture. Your furniture goes into a private compartment on the moving truck and your car or SUV will go into a compartment right behind it. Not only is it the fastest and most convenient way to move your vehicle, but also the safest.

Hi,

Do you move cars only, loaded with household items ?
It's an SUV Equinox, from CA to TX.
Please give a quote

Marie,

We can move just your automobile (and you may load it with items). If you are going to load your car or SUV with items, you need to load the vehicle first and then load the goods into it after it is on the moving truck. If you load a bunch of heavy items into an SUV, it could exceed the weight limit of the loading ramps and cause them to break under the weight.... which would not be pleasant. :-)
