we are moving across the country, and as we have 3 children to take with us, we wont be able to unload our moving truck for over a week after we would have loaded and sent it. is it possible to have the truck delivered when we will be there?

Moving to Fla. what happens it the truck gets their before I get there?

You should talk to one of our service reps to work out a schedule that works for both of us. If the truck arrives and you are not there, we would generally charge waiting time until you arrived or would make other arrangements to take your stuff to a storage facility.

How secure will my belongings be once they leave my old home and move to storage at new location? Do I have to be at the new location to put them in storage?

Your belongings are very secure. In most cases, the driver that picks up your shipment is the one that delivers it. Each customer gets a private section on the truck. If you cannot personally be at the destination, you would need to have permission on file in our office for us to release the order to a third party.

Does your company have the trailer storage option as we don't have a drop-off location/home at present and will need a secure place to keep our belongings (rather than rent a storage unit).

We highly recommend NOT leaving your furniture in a trailer for an extended time. There are freight companies that provide that kind of service, but our experience is that the elements really take a toll on your furniture if it sits in a hot/cold truck for an extended period of time. Your best bet really is to get a storage facility. In the long run, it will be cheaper and safer.

We do not bring boxes, we only use moving trucks for our service and cannot leave your goods on them for long periods of time. I would suggest putting your furniture in a ministorage while you are making arrangements.

We do not provide long term storage. We also highly discourage you from leaving your goods on a truck for an extended period of time due to potential damage from heat or cold.

Your best option (and cheapest) would be to deliver to a self-service storage facility at youur destination.
