If you use a self-service mover, many of them have the option of only paying for the space that you use. Full service movers normally charge by weight. Make sure that you are given a binding moving quote by whomever you use. You don't want any ugly surprises on moving day.

Yes, we have several options that will allow you to use the unused part of a truck that is traveling from and to the same general areas. You may need to have a little flexibility, but you can save yourself some money that way.

My fiance, my daughter and i are moving from bedford hills, NY. to Sarasota, FL. However we only have one room full of stuff to move, the biggest things are a queen size bed, and a medium dresser. Would it be cost effective to ship with you. and what would be the cost of such a small load.

I have quite a few potted plants that I would like to take with me when I move fm Va to AZ. Do you have any advice regarding plants?

We cannot transport live plants across state lines due to agricultural restrictions (when you are on the interstate, you will see agricultural inspection stations at each state entrance). You would have to have permits for the plants and we do not provide those services.

Are there restrictions on what you will haul? For example, fuel in autos or power equipment, chemicals, firearms... ?

If it blows up, is flammable, or stinks, you cannot put it on the truck. The only exception is fuel in automobiles. Those are sealed tanks and are not hazardous to ship.
